Quick, cheesy, and affordable dip recipe

What does one bring to a pot-luck dinner or book group night when one is short on time and or money? One wants to contribute, but life gets busy. This Examiner suggests the simple cheese dip that I recently made. With just a few ingredients, and some condiments that you may already have in your pantry, this dip is a quick and affordable way to contribute without investing much time or money. This dip is certainly not gourmet, but it will get you out the door in a hurry, dish in hand.
Quick and Cheesy Dip Recipe
8 ounces Cheddar Cheese
2 tablespoons (organic) milk
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Black pepper to taste

I teaspoon parsley, chopped or dried
1. Melt the cheddar cheese completely in a double boiler.
2. Stir in the milk.
3. Stir in the condiments.
4. Add the spices and blend well until the dip seems smooth.
5. Transfer the dip to a small serving and garnish it with parsley.
6. Serve with fresh, chopped vegetables, crusty bread, and or crunchy pretzels.
7. Feel happy to contribute, even on a busy day.
