Just about everyone seems to be exhausted these days, but there are a number of quick and easy ways to gain energy. Here are a few to get you started.

Drink Lemon Water. Lemon water will help detoxify your body which will help you gain energy quickly. It will also help balance your alkaline-acid levels which are believed to play a role in warding off certain types of cancer.

Avoid Sugar and Caffeine. You may think that caffeine and sugar give you energy, and they may temporarily. However, the best way to gain energy over the long haul is to eat nutrient rich vegetables, fruits and nuts.

Take Naps. You don’t need a lot of time to gain energy from taking daily naps. Setting aside 10 to 20 minutes a day to nap will provide you with hours of energy to get through the rest of your activities.

Go for a Walk. Take a 10-minute walk even when you’re feeling super tired. The fresh air and sunshine will lift your mood as you gain energy.
