Arizona brew masters have been perfecting their craft in celebration of more than 150 buzz-worthy events scheduled in every corner of the state including Flagstaff, Sedona, Prescott, Tucson, Phoenix, Bisbee and every brew-loving burg in between. Restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and other establishments will be hosting events including Teakwoods, Beckett's Table, The Herb Box, Four Peaks, SanTan Brewery, and lots more.
First on tap is the 12th Annual Arizona Strong Ale Festival at Indian School Park on Saturday, February 18th and ends the following Saturday with the Brewing Up Hope festival at Papago Brewery. The festival not only offers strong beers, but a wide variety of craft beer for tasting. Top notch food vendors and live music will help continue this festival’s tradition of cementing the Valley of the Sun’s reputation as a major player in the craft beer movement.
Organized by the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild, a group of craft brewers that represent and promote the state’s craft beer industry, the guild provides an opportunity for networking and information sharing among member brewers. The guild also offers educational opportunities for brewers, distributors and consumers. Members participate in local and national beer festivals to make the public aware of the various types and styles of beer produced in Arizona. This eight-day celebration offers businesses, brew masters and beer lovers easy access to tastings, beer-pairing dinners, seminars, home brewer classes, pub crawls, and anything else desert dwellers decide to do in homage to their favorite cold beverage. Cheers!
