Queen of the night, Whitney Houston tribute debuts April 20 at Texas Station (Photos)

You may have seen her as the lead vocalist with celebrity band The Family Stone. Perhaps you have caught her in the Broadway-style production show Vegas! The Show, where she appears nightly inside the Saxe Theater in Planet Hollywood.

Now you can see the multi-talented performer Trina Johnson-Finn as she is set to debut a new tribute show, Queen of the Night - A tribute to Whitney Houston, on April 20 inside the Dallas Events Center at Texas Station Gambling Hall, as part of the Texas Tribute Series.

Queen of the Night, is directed by Johnson-Finn and produced by Gemini Twin Productions - the new production company founded by Johnson-Finn and her husband Raymond Finn. Along with the choreography provided by Adolfo Barreto, this show promises to be an emotional and inspiring tribute to the late Whitney Houston, one of the top selling performers of all time.

For 90 minutes, fans will witness the powerful voice of Trina Johnson-Finn as she performs Whitney Houston’s greatest hits from her past albums and providing insight behind each of the songs while an amazing band supplies the music.

Featuring the talents of Nate Wingfield on guitar, bassist Walter Jones, Niles McKinney on keyboards, Michael Angelo on drums and backing vocals provided by Lyrehc Jordan and Rachel Leslie, Queen of the Night will not disappoint.

Trina Johnson-Finn has appeared on the MTV Music Video Awards, BET Awards and The Grammy’s, as well as shared the stage with MC Hammer and the legendary Barbra Streisand, to name a few. In addition to her singing talents, she is an actress and model, and has appeared on both screen and stage.

Credits include the films Anchorman, starring Will Ferrell, Breakin’ All the Rules with Jamie Foxx, and Bringing down the House starring Queen Latifah and Steve Martin. She has also appeared in Off-Broadway productions of Ain’t Misbehavin’, The Wiz, Dreamgirls, and Jesus Christ Superstar.
