Queen said that nut eating was not permitted by police during the royal wedding of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles. On Dec. 12, The Inquisitr reported that Queen Elizabeth II because quite "irritated" with the amount of royal nuts that were being eaten so she asked police to stop -- and she reportedly marked the bowls that the nuts were in so she could keep track of how many had been consumed.
How did this information leak? It was part of the phone-hacking trial involving the Queen and several other high profile people. The information was passed by email and eventually made it to the public Internet realm.
The Queen's nut eating problems were a big deal on the day of her son's second marriage. Apparently Queen Elizabeth II was really ticked off that her guards were gobbling up all of the nuts -- and while the report seems to suggest that the Queen was worried that their wouldn't be any nuts left for other guests, one has to wonder if she wanted her "staff" eating out of the royal bowls period.
"Queen furious about police stealing bowls of nuts and nibbles left out for her in apartments in the BP/Queen’s corridor. She has a very savoury tooth and staff leave out cashews, Bombay Mix, almonds etc. Prob is that police on patrol eat the lot… memo now gone around to all palace cops telling them to keep their sticky fingers out. She started marking the bowls to see when the levels dipped," the email read in part.
The Queen nut eating scandal might be from years ago but since many have just learned about it, debate is heating up. What do you make of the Queen's nut problems?
