Queen drummer Roger Taylor appeared on BBC News last week to talk about Queen's upcoming compilation album Queen's Absolute Greatest Hits, due for release Nov. 17 in America.

The most surprising part of the interview (link below) wasn't Taylor's recollections about Queen, though, it was his thoughts on working with one of last season's American Idol finalists... Adam Bolton.

That's right, Adam Bolton.

"We did play in the final of American Idol with the two final guys, one of whom is called Adam Bolton..." Taylor said when asked about a possible replacement for Freddie Mercury. While he said that there could never be a "replacement" for Queen's original frontman, he did say that both he and guitarist Brian May are eager to work with Adam - Lambert, we presume - in the future.

"He is the most phenomenal singer... and Brian and I would like to do something with him maybe at one point," said Taylor. "He's phenomonally talented and has one of the greatest voices I've ever heard."

Too bad he can't get his name right!
