If you're looking for some family friendly fun this Halloween, look no further than Queen Creek's annual Trunk or Treat event! Taking place tomorrow, October 26, from 5 to 9 pm at Desert Mountain Park, the event will feature the well-known 'Trunk or Treat Street' where goblins and ghosts of all ages can take a look at some creepy-themed trunks while filling their bags with goodies.

If you're family includes Fido, don't let him miss out on the fun either! Dress your pup up in a costume and enter them into the 'HOWL'-oween Pet Club Costume Contest. All dogs must be registered; the form can be filled out online here. Please remember all dogs must be on a leash and judging decisions are final. Awards will be given out for Funniest, cutest, best group (dog & owner), and most original canine costume. Make sure not to miss out on this fun, frolicking event for your furry friends!

If you're a fan of AMC's 'The Walking Dead' or zombies in general and are looking for any excuse to dress up like the undead, then be sure not to miss out on the Zombie Run, hosted by the Queen Creek Schools Education Foundation and back for a second year in a row. The race will take place from 4-5 pm at Desert Mountain Park, before Trunk or Treat starts. The cost for early registration is $25 per person, which includes a free zombie t-shirt and runners will follow a three-mile course. For more information on this spooky 5k, please click here.

New this year to Trunk or Treat is the Zombie Film Fest, where teens from across the Valley have created their own zombie films. These five minute videos will be shown during Trunk or Treat and teens can also hang out in the Zombie Yard and play a round or two of Zombie Ball.

Along with these new events, families can enjoy regular favorites such as hot dogs, popcorn and other good eats; carnival games; and live music. A dance presentation by the group 'Fresh Faces' -- who were seen on America's Got Talent will also be performing that night, along with other special presentations.
