If you were lucky enough to make it to the Saint Motel and Nico Vega Halloween witch hunt at the Roxy then you'll already know that one of the top bands currently rocking LA are Queen Caveat (pronounced Cav -ee-ah-t) who were special guests on the Halloween show along with Imagine Dragons. While the other bands of the night combined forces to set out on a combined West Coast Fall tour, Queen Caveat have, thankfully, remained in LA to ensure that some of LA's best live music is still being played in the city
The band comprises of vocalist Lauren Little (and there's nothing small or little about her vocals or stage pressance!) Ben Epand on guitars and some exceptional lead work ,Will Weissman on Bass and Jesse Magnuson on drums.Scince releasing their debut ep 'Emptor' last spring the band has been going from strength to strength with a growing fanbase and a list of classic sets and live performances being played at all of the city's top venues from the Roxy to the Viper Rooms and also the Sunset Strip music Festival so expect Queen Caveat to be a main headlining act throughout the West Coast and beyond in 2011.The band are currently giving away a free download of their track What Built Me while new tracks along with the classic 'Let It Fall' and others from Emptor (which is also available via Amazon for those without iTunes)are also streaming from the bands MySpace
Tonight, for their last show of 2010, they rock out The Viper Room, so if you want to catch one of LA's and America's very best upcoming rock bands make sure you head on down to the Viper Room for 9 o'clock tonight. Also on the bill tonight are headliners Har Mar Superstar with extra support from Dead Trees and Killabite. Just to give you a taster of what to expect tonight here's a flashback to their August Sunset Strip Festival Show at the Viper room playing 'Let It Fall'
