Quebec Police questioned owners of dog that survived being shot (Photos)

According to Montreal CTV news the Québec Provincial Police (SQ) questioned the owners of a dog that was found lying in a ditch in the town of Cowansville in the Province of Quebec. The dog named Orville, was found with his head swollen and at first it was thought that it was due to being hit by a car. The SPA des Cantons cared for Orville and once the swelling had gone down they noticed there was a hole on his head. After taking him to the veterinary clinic it was discovered that the dog had been shot in the head and after an X-ray was performed it was confirmed that a bullet caused the hole.

Montreal CTV reports that on Thursday morning the owners of the dog showed up at the offices of the SPA des Cantons and workers immediately called police. SQ officers presented themselves to the building and proceeded to question the owners. There is no further information of what occurred after the police left or what will happen to Orville.
