Montreal - Vegan author, Elise Desaulniers, will hold a tabling event at Cinema du Parc during the special presentations of award winner director Liz Marshall’s The Ghosts In Our Machine. Accompanied by other animal advocates, Elise will be giving out information about veganism and activism.
Elise writes for the Huffington Post and her latest publications in English are on Carnism and Natural Food. Elise will be at Cinema du Parc with her book Vache a Lait (Cash cow). She will be talking to people about the intake of dairy products in Canada. Elise states “Canadians rank among the world's top 10 largest consumers of milk. We have been taking very much to heart the slogan "One glass of milk is good, but two is better" and have accepted the idea that it is normal, natural and necessary to drink milk.”
Information from several organizations that promote veganism will be provided. LUSH Fresh Handmade Natural Cosmetics will be giving samples of their natural vegan cosmetic products and coupons.
