Quartino Ristorante gives patrons a taste of authentic regional Italian food, with a substantial menu perfect for sharing. While the extensive wine list and pick-your-own antipasti options are a delicious draw, the comforting bowls of homemade pasta is what makes Executive Chef John Coletta most proud.

His new cookbook, co-written with Nancy Ross Ryan, shares his Italian inspirations. 250 True Italian Pasta Dishes: Easy & Authentic Recipes Inspired by Quartino Ristorante Pizzeria Wine Bar launched at bookstores in September and is available at the restaurant as well. (softcover retails at $24.95)

In celebration, Quartino is offering $5 lunch specials highlighting a different signature recipe each week. Guests will also receive a printed copy of the pasta special recipe upon ordering. For November, two weeks of specials remain.

November 2-8th: Penne with Cherry Tomatoes

November 9-15th: Bigoli with Speck and Broccoli

The lunch specials run daily every day from 11:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Quartino Ristorante is located at 626 North State Street. Call 312-698-5000 for more information.
