“This is basically Beyond’s engine, and we were so excited with what we could achieve,” Cage said. “Some people were really impressed with The Dark Sorcerer but this is just the beginning, it’s the minimum quality you can get on the console.”
Cage said a small team at Quantic Dream worked on the demo, spending little time and resources on the short film, and now that they have a full team working with the PS4 he hopes to “make something really impressive.”
The yet-to-be-announced Quantic Dream game has been under development since mid-2012, according to VG 24/7, and could be titled Singularity.
The PS4 launches on Nov. 15 in North America, Nov. 29 in Europe and in February in Japan.
