Quakes remain winless for the season

The San Jose Earthquakes ended their 21 home unbeaten steak after when they lost to the visiting New England Revolution 2-1 on Saturday, March 29, 2014. They will look to rebound against the Columbus Crew today, April 13, 2014 at noon.

The Quakes put themselves in the hole in the first half when Defender Victor Bernardez inadvertently kicked the ball into his own net in an attempt to clear. Chris Wondolowski scored the equalizer in the second half, and the Earthquakes pushed for the go ahead tally. It was, however, the Revs that scored the game-winning goal in stoppage time after a quick restart that caught the San Jose defenders off guard.

After a week off, the Earthquakes will look to start a new unbeaten streak against the Crew. They will then travel to Colorado next week and return home the following to host Chivas USA
