Quakes look for first victory of the season against Chivas USA

The San Jose Earthquakes still look for their first victory of the 2014 season when they host rival Chivas USA tonight at Buck Shaw Stadium in Santa Clara, CA. The game is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 PM.

San Jose is in the bottom of the Western Conference standings with three points and a 0-2-3 record. After losing the first game at home and breaking their 21-game unbeaten streak against New England on Saturday, March 29, 2014, the Earthquakes drew 1-1 against the Columbus Crew at home and drew 0-0 against the Colorado Rapids on the road. Chris Wondolowski scored the tying goal against the Crew.

The Quakes will travel to Vancouver next Saturday, May 3, 2014 to play the Whitecaps and will host the Colorado Rapids the following Wednesday, May 7, 2014.
