Q'Viva! The Chosen, a new series showcasing Latin music and dance, features Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony and Jamie King. They travel across North, South and Central America in search of undiscovered Latin performers. The series premieres on Saturday, March 3, 2012 (8:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT) and will continue for five weeks of two hour episodes on Fox Television Network, according to a February 15 press release from Fox.
Q’VIVA! The Chosen is the first-of-its-kind docu-journey series showcasing Latin music and dance, and featuring entertainment icon and American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez, international music star Marc Anthony and world-renowned concert director Jamie King.
The show will showcase the talents of Latin American artists, but you do not have to speak Spanish to understand the joy of music and dance. After scouting Latin American countries to find undiscovered talent, the show will bring them to the United States for a concert spectacular.
Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony and Jamie King will travel through 20 countries to find and showcase the most outstanding Latin singers, dancers, musicians and other amazing performers during their tour of Latin America. The transcontinental journey includes stops in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Panama, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, Venezuela and the United States. The show will also feature the incredible stories and personal journeys of the performers they discover.
After traveling the globe to find undiscovered talent, they will bring the chosen ones to the United States to prepare for the most important performance of their lives. Fox is calling it the greatest celebration of Latin music andperformance arts ever produced.

This is about creating a live visual experience about Latin culture, rhythm and dance. I believe that people will be so enlightened, so enriched by this experience.”
