Sometimes a person finds their calling by accident,such is the case for Joey Herman.He began to develop his skills as a baseball player up until high school,when a major injury sidelined that career goal.Herman,then began to develop his acting and comedy skills as well as his gift of being a spiritual counselor.The following is his story,in his own words.
Q:Please tell us your name and skills?
A:I'm Joey Herman. I am an Actor/Comedian/Spiritual Counselor.
Q:What made you gain the title of spiritual counselor?
A: I actually was told at a young age that my gift would be used to help people. But I didn't pay attention to that ,my world was all about baseball.I wanted to be a pro baseball player,that's all I thought about. Until I was injured on the playing field in high school.It turned out to be a blessing in disguise,because I've learned to develop this and my other gifts, over time.
Q:Please go into detail on the discovery?
A:I was heavily involved with with my acting and comedy thing but I found that something was missing in my spiritual life.I then began to study the kabbalah religion and one of the priests told me "Now is the time,to use your gift of being a spiritual advisor."That's when I began to cultivate my gift. I love helping people find the right path.Even though there are some who aren't open to receive what I feel for them at times.During those times.I just apologize to them and keep going
Q: You also mentioned you're a comedian?
A:"I am,that is part of my gift, to bring the world healing through laughter.I have been using that part of my gift for ten years now. I find that, that also draws people to me,so that I can help them."
Q:You recently appeared on Dr. Phil,tell us about that?
A:"I was doing a spiritual counseling session with someone & at the end of the reading, I discovered that they were involved with the Dr. Phil Show.They like the session so much,that they decided to arrange for me to be on the show and the rest is history."
Q:You also have been on dating shows,tell us about it?
A: "I have appeared on this one dating show called "The One," which will be coming soon. I have also appeared in various short films and TV series.It's all about me bringing happiness to people with my gifts."
Q:You've been working with a charity as well?
A:"I go to various locations around southern California and feed the homeless.I don't have a name for my organization,we just go out and try to help the less fortunate."
Q:What do want everyone to know about you?
A:"I study kabbalah at www.ukabbalah.com. I also love ice cream and do simple things.I love and want others to love as well.My counseling is real and it's all about helping people get to their fullest potential of life. In the end that's what it's always been about."
