Sky High is one of the few places where bouncing off the walls is encouraged! With floors and walls made up of trampolines, this is not your typical bounce house. All ages are encouraged to come bounce and have a great time (Yes I mean you mom and dad). On the 1st Tuesday of each month from 3pm till 6pm the facility is sensory friendly. The music gets turned off and the focus is to create a fun and safe jump time for our special needs children and adults. Jumper tickets are only $5 and an accompanying parent or therapist getting in for free. Siblings are also welcome to come play. During the rest of their open hours, jumper tickets are $11 an hour except for special jumping times – check out their website for all the details. The owner of Sky High is himself a member of our community of special needs parents with a son diagnosed with Asperger’s and has designed a place to be fun for all ability levels.
Another wonderful place to get bouncing is at Bouncing Bears. They have an indoor playground that kids can’t get enough of! There are things to climb on, bounce on and slide down making a very safe and fun environment for our kids to play in. On the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 5pm till 8pm they close to the general public to host only children with special needs and their families. Parents get to network with other parents and take a much needed break while the kids play. You can visit their Facebook page or website for more information as well as any specials they have going on right now.
