Update: This pair was rescued by German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County

Earlier this year, two senior German shepherds in Calif., were dealt the ultimate betrayal by their former owner when they were abandoned at their home, which was in foreclosure.

The dogs, both nine years of age, were briefly cared for by a realtor, but eventually they were turned over to the Los Angeles County Animal Care and Control in Agoura, Calif.

Today, the gorgeous seniors, "Nina," and "Rocky," are still without a home, and they are running out of time.

Please take a moment to network for these gorgeous sable shepherds - they are in need of a helping hand.
