A purebred German Shepherd mother dog and three of her four month old pups were dumped in a Texas shelter today. All are available for adoption. Unfortunately, the claims of pure bred status are unverified and it's likely that there are no papers for these dogs. However, German Shepherds do not do well in shelters given their nature, so a foster is needed asap until all the dogs find a forever home. The details are as follows from Hound Haven:
AVAILABLE NOW! German Shepherd mom and 4-3mth old puppies! A female German Shepherd was surrendered to the shelter today with her 4 3mth old babies: 1 female and 3 male. The owner said they were pure bred and had to give them up due to landlord issues. Of course, the shelter can't attest to that because we don't know for sure who the dad is. They can only go on what the owner said. If you are interested in any of these gorgeous babies or mom, please call 903-297-2170 or go to 303 Enterprise St today by 5:30. Valerie's email is email@example.com.
Please contact Valerie at the phone number or email mentioned above if interested in fostering or adopting one of the dogs.
