In the signing day press conference Coach Hope, thinks this recruiting class will go far in helping the Boilermakers in the future.

“I feel like we have some needs at every position, and even more so some specific needs that are really important to our football team right now. We have some guys that can impact the immediate future.” “We had to go out and sign a lot of defensive backs we had four seniors that started for us that are done with their eligibility. So going out and getting some defensive backs who had enough ability had enough size enough speed and also had good enough grades so we can count on them being here and learning and getting ready to play was very important to us.”

According to rivals Purdue’s recruiting class ranks seventh in the Big Ten conference, but Wide Receiver Coach Brian Rock described this 2010 recruiting class as the best the boilermakers have seen since he came to Purdue in 2006.
