Update 5/3/14: Rescued by the Big Fixx Rescue on Friday afternoon!
On May 1, an eight-month-old puppy, whose owner was moving, was surrendered to a crowded animal control facility in Garland, Texas.
The puppy, named "King," has something wrong which makes opening his eyes almost impossible. Exactly what the problem is remains unknown at this point in time - there is speculation that the pup has an eye infection, or that he may have a painful condition known as entropian, which makes it difficult to open the eyes.
Those who have met King describe a puppy who is extremely friendly, though confused; he wants nothing more than to be on the receiving end of a kind and loving touch.
