According to KCRA News, someone stole a beagle puppy from a vehicle which was parked at a Roseville, Calif., Costco on Thursday afternoon.
The 10-week-old puppy, named "Charlie," had been left inside of the car while his owner went inside for approximately 15 minutes. The owner, who has not been named, told the police that he parked his car in the shade and left the windows cracked.
A man in his 60s had entered the tire center to notify the employees that a puppy was locked in a hot car. Both the puppy, and the man who made the complaint, were gone when the dog's owner returned to the vehicle.
An unsigned note was left with the vehicle, stating that the puppy was taken, along with Charlie's collar. The pup's owner has stated that he will not press charges if the puppy is returned.
