Puppy chewing issues

New puppies like to chew, just like babies like to put things in their mouths. Often this is for the same purpose too - teething. Baltimore dog owners do not have to put up with chewed up furniture, though, as there are ways to help minimize the chewing on furniture and other objects while directing chewing to appropriate objects.

In order to train a puppy to not chew, it is important to teach the drop it and leave it command. Coupled with the provision of appropriate chew toys, these commands can save a household a lot of damage in puppy chewing.
