The Puppy Bowl X 2014 live stream puppy cam is keeping an eye on puppies in the locker room ahead of the annual game that has taken animal lovers by storm. This year's Puppy Bowl X will rival only Punxsutawney Phil and the Super Bowl as must-see events on Sunday, Feb. 2. The latest game will arrive for viewers through Animal Planet with a special live stream Puppy Bowl cam setup to let internet viewers watch the cute activities of puppies leading up to the game.

A Feb. 1 report from indicates that this will be the tenth edition of the big game featuring canine competitors. It will also include an entertaining “Kitty Halftime Show” sponsored by Bissell (sorry Bruno Mars), and a sideline reporter bird who just so happens to have a Twitter account @MeepTheBird, which allows fans more interactivity. Among those in the starting lineups are Alvin the Poodle, Artemis the Lab/Sato Mix, Aurora the Dalmatian, Max the Shih Tzu and Danny the Papillon Mix.

The Puppy Bowl has now been going strong on Animal Planet for ten editions (since 2005), with each one attempting to raise the stakes of the last. Puppies who compete in the big game all come from shelters, making for a worthy promotion. Since this year’s is the tenth anniversary of the game, Times Square played host to various events and exhibits such as a doggie kissing booth, Puppy Bowl Hall of Fame and “tailgating.”

For those who take the game lightly, there may not be Vegas odds on the winning side, but there’s a Most Valuable Puppy (MVP) for each of the games so far. They include the first-ever MVP, Max who is a Jack Russell Terrier, and Fumble a Terrier Mix from Puppy Bowl VIII. Last year’s MVP was Marta, a Schnauzer/Beagle Mix. Which puppy will claim the prize for this year’s edition of the game?

The Puppy Bowl X television start time is scheduled for 3 p.m. Eastern Standard Time with hourly repeats thereafter. Viewers can watch on Animal Planet via cable or satellite providers including DIRECTV, DISH Network and Cox Cable in Roanoke. The live stream puppy cam will continue online, but will not show the actual televised game.
