Puppy Bowl 2014: First Lady Michelle Obama to Attend Animal Planet Super Bowl Special

Mrs. Obama's participation in the annual Animal Planet event, which has aired every Super Bowl Sunday since 2005, will likely ensure even more viewers than usual for the four-legged footballers. Mrs. Obama is reportedly taking part this year to promote her various health initiatives, especially her "Let's Move!" campaign.

Throughout her husband's presidency, the First Lady has been vocal about her desire to see Americans get more exercise, drink more water and eat more foods that come from the garden rather than bags and boxes. First Family pups Sonny and Bo geared up for their Puppy Bowl 2014 experience by working out alongside shelter dogs on the South Lawn of the White House during a training event, playing fetch with children, practicing agility with tire drills and generally getting all their wiggles out.

Tune into Animal Planet on Sunday afternoon to get in on all the adorable four-legged fun!
