Puppies in need of foster homes

The DFW Pup Patrol needs your help. As an all-volunteer organization, the DFW Pup Patrol relies on foster families to care for our four-legged friends until they find their forever homes.

Lisa Arion, one of the founders of DFW Pup Patrol, contacted me with a desperate plea for temporary (one to four weeks) foster homes for seven adorable puppies. “We have a couple of foster families who are going out of town,” she said, “and we also have one tiny puppy who needs to be fostered and kept separate from other dogs.”

The DFW Pup Patrol also needs sponsors to provide any vetting costs associated with the dogs that are rescued from shelters. To see many of the adorable puppies and dogs available for adoption, stop by Odyssey Pets Saturday from 11a.m.-4p.m. and Sunday from 1-5p.m. Odyssey Pets is located at 17390 Preston Road in Dallas at Preston and Summerside next to La Hacienda Restaurant. The DFW Pup Patrol will have tents set up in the grassy area adjacent to Odyssey Pets. For more information, contact DFW Pup Patrol at info@dfwpuppatrol.com . The more foster homes DFW Pup Patrol can get, the more dogs they can save. Won't you help?
