Are you looking for a little high class, low brow entertainment? Then I have just the thing for you.
Puppetry of the Penis is a world wide phenomenon. The show started in 1998 at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. The team of Simon Morley and David "Friendy" Friend were the original puppeteers. At the festival it was named "Best Outright Show."
After that Morley did a calendar of so called "instillations" (what the pair would call "dick tricks"). Friend moved on to doing bachleorette parties, and private parties. Finally the two reunited after lack luster solo careers to take the world by storm. Now they tour the world performing plays that center around their puppets which just happen to be attached to apart of their lower anatomy.
The show will be running at the Lakeshore theater this weekend only. Show times are December 4th, 5th, an 6th at 7:30pm. Tickets are still on sale at cost $39.50 per person. The Lakeshore theater is located at 3175 Broadway Street in Chicago. For more information call (773)472-3492.
