"Pupa" manga creator Sayaka Mogi will be releasing a new horror title in the May issue of Futabasha's Monthly Action magazine.

The title, "Ao no Haha" (青の母),will focus on the story of a woman who, during a ceremony, finds a doll that looks just like her. With the revelation, she finds herself trying to discover the origins of the dolls and who the "Blue Mother" is. The tagline in the advertisement reads, "In the village where humans and dolls mix, she lives in a nightmare, cursed with a sad fate."

Currently, Mogi is also working on another series, "Switch Witch," described as a "'secondary sexual' psychological fantasy." "Pupa," which tells the story of abused siblings cursed with a monsterous virus, ended in December. The anime based on the manga has been running since January, and is currently streaming on Crunchyroll.
