Having formed just a few DECADES ago (more specifically 1988), 311 is a band that not only can be considered legends, but gods, veterans, alumni, the list could really go on. And after 21 years, they haven't shown any signs of slowing down.
Their ninth album Uplifter was released this summer and debuted at #3 on Billboard's Album Chart. Naturally this success prompted a tour. Mixing the stylings of funk, alternative rock, hip hop and reggae, this band has a way of putting on a show to entertain the masses.
Since they're able to call the thriving Midwestern metropolis of Omaha, Nebraska "home," they're always willing and able to oblige many Midwestern stops along their tours. It would be hard to think of a tour in which the five guys didn't make it through our fair city. Past tours have included such acts as: 30 Seconds To Mars, Matisyahu, and Ziggy Marley. But for the current cross country trek they've invited hip hop/rap artists The Kottonmouth Kings. It's sure to make the evening a psychedelic trip for each mind there.
