Pumpkin Maple; a simple sauce for the season

Pumpkin Maple Sauce is the Ideal Sauce for Pumpkin Maple Pancakes or simple waffles. Spread it on scones or muffins. Try it as a marinade for pork and poultry. Don't stop there, use is as a dip for cookies and biscuits.
1 cup pure maple syrup
1 1/4 cups pumpkin puree
1/4 tsp Pie Spice
Heat maple syrup, pumpkin, and Pie Spice in small saucepan until warm; cover and set aside. Refrigerate for up to one week
