Pumpkin Carving Contest Tonight

Remember when you were a kid and for Halloween you got to go on a field trip to a farm or pumpkin patch?  You waded through dozens of pumpkins until you found that perfect one.  Then you brought it home and couldn't wait to start carving it with your parents and showing it off to your neighbors and friends.  Well here's your opportunity to do it again as an adult...sort of.

Cans Bar and Canteen will be hosting a pumpkin carving contest tonight starting at 6pm.  All you need to do is bring your own pumkin and be prepared to thrown down or cut down I guess.  This an annual event that Cans does.  Everyone who participates will recieve a prize.

For those who don't want to compete no worries Cans has killer specials going on tonight to help you feel like you've won something too.  Their specials include $2 off big cans, $1 hot dog bar, and $1 sliders.  For $6 you can try their delicious pumkintini.

Cans Bar and Canteen is located at 1640 N Damen.  For more information about the contest or about Cans Bar and Canteen call 773-227-2277.
