Puffy Paws Cat Haven is well respected in their Englewood, Florida community. Founded in 2006 by Rick and Chrissy Kingston, this beautiful rescue is home to 200 kitties with feline leukemia, FIV, feral cats, unadoptable kitties, one eye cats, senior kitties, kitties that do not use their litter box, abused kitties, cats with neurological disorders, abused kitties and more.
Rick and Chrissy take in the unwanted and unadoptable kitties that would be euthanized elsewhere, and the premium cat food that fits all their nutritional needs is expensive. With Puffy Paws being a cat hospice for special need and unwanted kitties, the rescue had to change their diet in order to have the kitties in the best ultimate health.
Right now they're in desperate need of a cat food reserve, and have to raise the money needed to feed the cats on a weekly basis. No food would mean hungry cats. They have until Friday to cover the next weeks worth of kitty vittles.
Thirty two cases of wet food a week are needed of California Natural Chicken & Brown Rice Formula Canned Cat & Kitten Food - 13.2 oz Cans $1.41.5 per can: 12 in a case - $16.98 per case 4.5 case a day: - $ 67.92 9 bags of dry food a week California Natural Chicken & Brown Rice Formula Dry Cat & Kitten Food - 15 pounds $26.21, plus a $17 delivery charge.

Rick and Chrissy have a message to their many supporters
"You have the power to advert this tragedy By using the Shopping Cart on this page, you may donate to pay for 1 case of wet food,or more. A bag of dry,or more. Or you may make a donation of your choice. A $3 $5 $10 donation is like a million bucks to the kitties. It is all up to what your heart and budget can afford to take care of the kitties. Every little bit helps. Please only give what your heart & budget can afford. Thank You Rick & Chrissy & Da Kitties Founders Puffy Paws Kitty Haven."
The decision to place the cats on a premium diet has saved the rescue a lot of money. Back when the cats were on cheap dry food, they could eat all day long and never get full. The switch has saved more than $22,000 a year in litter alone, plus made for healthier cats.
Take a look at the photos in this slideshow. These cats live in luxury, for whatever time they have left on this earth. Puffy Paws Kitty Haven needs to be able to focus on other things, and not have to worry about where the next weeks worth of food is coming from. They also have veterinarian visit costs to cover, household expenses, and with it being summer, the worry of Florida hurricanes.
Please give what you can, and share their story with friends.
