The Publishers Clearing House elite prize patrol team gave the first clue for their $25,000 giveaway this week on Dec. 11 at 2:00 p.m. ET using the Danielle Lam PCH Prize Patrol Facebook account. The elite prize patrol member posted the following tip to those trying to figure out if the money being given away on Thursday will go to a winner in their state:
CLUE #1--The capital of this state has more than five letters. Georgia has more than five letters in it.
Danielle then told Facebook superfans to go to the PCH Twitter account for the bonus clue if they couldn't wait until the next clue is delivered at 5:30 p.m. today.
Pchdotcom on Twitter issued this bonus clue on Wednesday: The state capital the prize patrol will be traveling to has more than two vowels in it. Remember, vowels are "a, e, i, o and u...and sometimes y".
The tweet doesn't say if the vowels must be different from one another or if they could be the same vowel used twice or more, so it isn't clear if the state of Georgia is still in the running or not because the capital of the state--Atlanta--has three vowels in it--but they are all the letter "a". So maybe!
Wherever the elite prize patrol decides to let their random computer selector send them this time, there is always the chance that they could make it to Georgia at some point in the coming year because they are promoting a lot of different sweepstake giveaways on their website right now.
There is the 3 Million dollar dream home sweepstakes, which ends on February 20, 2014. And there at least 20 more giveaways and prize awards in the works between now and 2015 based upon the company's official Website. So if Georgia is missed yet again this time, perhaps a winner will hail from this state sometime in the near future.
