The demand for the two original "80 Years of Recording at Abbey Road Studios" talks by "Recording the Beatles" authors Brian Kehew and Kevin Ryan which give the public the rare chance to see the studio from the inside proved so popular that more have been scheduled.
"The talks due to take place on 10th March 2012 at Abbey Road’s iconic Studio Two sold out at a staggering rate. Due to this demand, two more talks will take place on 11th March," the studio has announced.
The presentations by Kehew and Ryan will feature a full history of the studio and the music produced there not just by the Beatles but by both pop and classical artists. Recordings to be covered, in addition to the Beatles, will include those by Sir Edward Elgar, the Shadows, Peter Sellers, Helen Shapiro, Pink Floyd, the Hollies, the Zombies, the Swingin' Blue Jeans and more.
In addition, film scores also worked on at the studio, including from the "Star Wars," "Harry Potter" and "Lord of the Rings" movies, will also be discussed.
The authors' superb book, "Recording the Beatles," details the equipment and techniques used by the Beatles.
