Scandal after scandal has shaken the foundation of the White House as public opinion tires of the Obama-Reid partial government shutdown.
Uncharacteristic public actions by average citizens, along with opinion polls are revealing a different set of facts than the information the mainstream media is attempting to feed Americans.
In the face of being offered biased news from television and newspapers across the nation that favors the Obama administration, groups such as churches, bikers, veterans, and truck drivers are growing in numbers protesting and opposed to White House policies and tactics.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid D-Nevada, who publicly states he will not negotiate Obamacare in the shutdown debate, is the most hated official with the lowest public approval rate out of the leadership in both the House and Senate according to a new Gallup poll.
In spite of media reporting to the contrary, House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, said “Our message in the House has been pretty clear.”
“We want to reopen our government and provide fairness to all Americans under the president's health care law,” Boehner elaborated. “You know the law had a big rollout last week, but it’s been called, and I'll quote, an inexcusable mess.”
"How can we tax people for not buying a product form a website that doesn't work,” asked Boehner. “This is why we need to sit down and have a conversation about the big challenges that face our country."
More than half (52%) of Americans think Obama is not doing enough to collaborating with Republicans to end his shutdown according to the AP. A large percentage, 49%, squarely blame Obama and also congressional Democrats for their shutdown.
Regardless of reporting emphasizing a different perspective Obama’s approval rating continues to tumble downward with the AP poll showing 53% of Americans are unhappy with his lack of leadership and honesty.
Only 37% give Obama any kind of an approval rate.
While Obama and the media detest these bad ratings, the Congress approval results are even poorer. An enormous 83% of Americans now disapprove of Congress, with only 5% approving of their job performance.
Almost 60% want to cut federal spending.
A recent Rasmussen poll show that over half (51%) of Americans are in favor of the shutdown until both political parties agree what should be cut from Obamacare.
