Public invited to discuss options for the Fly'n B House at Fly'n B Park

If you have driven along C-470 past the western portion of Highlands Ranch, you may have noticed an old white house hidden among towering trees on the south side of the interstate. That white house is the Fly’n B House.

The house and surrounding 20 acres were conveyed to the Highlands Ranch Metro District in 2006. In 2010, Fly’n B Park was unveiled to the community with amenities including a fishing pond, orchard, picnic shelter, and soft-surface trails perfect for the outdoor enthusiast. That same year the renovation of the Highlands Ranch Mansion began, and as a result, the decision on the future of the Fly’n B House was put on hold.

It’s now time to decide the future of the Fly’n B House. Metro District staff is evaluating a number of options for the house and invites the public to weigh in on its decision. The public is invited to attend an open house Wednesday, March 6 from 3 – 8 p.m. at the Metro District office building, 62 W. Plaza Dr.

If you are unable to attend the open house you can still provide your input. Please submit your comments by March 22 in writing, by phone, email or take an online survey. Please send your comments to:
