"I am the one who determines the value of an experience for me," said psychologist Carl Roders. He and most psychologists affirm that the human being is the one who gives meaning and purpose to life, instead of God. On the contrary, the Bible teaches that God exists, and reveals his truth to us, which we can live by or reject. Humanists such as psychologists consider these facts authoritarian, and prefer to let each person determine what is good and what is evil. If you think this is an abstract discussion, go to a public place such as a grocery store some time and listen to the little children yell and order their parents about! Their parents rejected that right or wrong exists, and believe that we must not hinder little brats from reaching their full potential, which is not innate goodness as they so confidently affirm, but is a heart desperately wicked, as the Bible teaches.
