Bright Blessings!
As a member of the greater pagan community in Southeastern Michigan, there a many events that are going on for good causes all the time. Some I hear about in advance, some not so much. But this one was right on time.
Last year, Michigan Pagan Fest put on a wonderful event. This year, they promise to make it even more of a happening than last time. That is a really big cauldron to fill, but the folks are definitely up to it. But like all events, quality attractions require funding.
To faciliate this, there is a Psychc Fair and Bake Sale to benefit MIPaganFest on Sunday, April 14, 2013 from 11 am to 5 pm at Sacred Sage 23622 Farmington Rd. Farmington, MI 48336 http://www.thesacredsage.com .
The store is self described as
"a peaceful, uplifting and welcoming haven where all spiritual paths are sacred. We share a positive, supportive environment to explore and experience spiritual thought and wisdom".
I have visited this establishment and can confirm, that they are indeed a positive and spiritually rich environment with meaningful wares. The staff is courteous and professional, as well as full of knowlege and expertise. I highly recommend making a day trip to enjoy what they have to offer.
And of course, you can also buy Sage there!
Readings are in 20-30 min sessions on a first come, first served basis. They expect the spaces to be filled by 1:00pm. Readings are specially priced at $20. Cash or check only.
Please make checks payable to MIPaganFest.
The type of readings available are varied. They include: Animal Totem Readings with John, Tarot with Jacque, Psychic Medium with Anna, Tarot and Dream Interpretations with Teri, and Chakra readings and balancing with Rich.
But if you have more of a hunger for yummies, there will also be baked goods of all kinds made by MPF staff and volunteers. Nothing like treats and sweets from loving coven ovens!

To learn more about the significance of sage in spiritual practice, you may wish to visit http://www.alchemy-works.com/herb_sage.html. While I always advocate shopping locally, this online vendor offers seeds for a Witch's garden that you may find interestnig. The owner is very nice, as well.
Hope to see you there!
Merry Part!
