Summary: Shawn looks for revenge for Henry’s shooting.
The show opens with Henry getting shot. Shawn shows up and chases after the guy that shot him. They arrive at the hospital. They take him into surgery. After surgery, Shawn is talking to Henry. He apologizes for how he acted. He asks him to not die. Woody comes in with a body bag and says that he will come back later.
Shawn is outside the hospital and runs into Chelsea (the crazy girl who followed Henry to the spa). He tells her about he got shot. He comes back to the room where Juliet is waiting. She asks him not to do something stupid. He says he won’t.
Shawn meets with Gus and he tells him that he wants to go and catch the shooter.
Shawn/Gus go to the beach house. He breaks into the house. He sees the guys wallet and keys. He starts breaking the man’s items. He says that someone is helping him because his wallet is at the house. Shawn sees there is a sheet for a building called Red Chief. Someone is coming in the house and Shawn and Gus go hide. Lassiter/Juliet show up and find them. He finds a secret room. They go down into it and see that it’s loaded with guns and ammo. Juliet tells Shawn to leave. Shawn sees an a Red Chief which is the same info on the receipt.
Shawn gets a call that Henry is doing better.
Henry wakes to Chelsea there.
Gus/Shawn go to Red Chief firing range. Shawn says he found out that he pays bills for the place. A man comes over to talk to them. They ask to talk to the owner, Jimmy, but the man says he’s not the owner nor there. Shawn creates a problem so that the owner will come out. A different man says that Jack Atwater, the owner, won’t be there for a while.
Shawn/Gus go to see Jack. He says he will help him. As Jack is going to tell the judge, he gets shot.
They are all in Chief’s office. Juliet scolds Shawn for his actions. Lassiter believes it was a local. Chief brings up everything that everyone is saying wrong. She asks Shawn to stay. She says that he can’t go after Karp and she hints that she wants him to.
Gus/Shawn go back to Red Chief shooting range. He puts a disguise on so he can go back in. He says that he needs to see the hall-of-fame board so that he can see who can shoot long range. They end up cutting the beards so they can put ½ on and sneak in. He learns that J.E. Vest (the 2nd guy who talked to them the first time) won for long shooting.
Shawn/Gus go to see Henry. Shawn asks him about James Earl Vest. He is Jimmy’s security guy. He tells him where he could be and Shawn/Gus leave.
Gus/Shawn go to bookstore and see Vest, who is securing an author at a book signing. Shawn talks about how he knows who killed Jack out loud and the guards throw them out of the bookstore. He takes out a ‘Psych’ card before leaving them.
Shawn/Gus at the Psych office. Gus tells Shawn to calm down. He says that he did it so that Karp will make a move. As they sit on the couch and it clicks like Karp’s landmine.
The police are at the Psych office. A robot comes in to take out the landmine. Shawn has the robot get the nachos for them. He comes out with the landmine and they put it in a safe.
Juliet tells Shawn to pull back. He lies to her and says that he’s off the case. Shawn breaks the glass to the building called ‘Feed Everyone’ the one that Henry told him to go to. Shawn says that Vest works for Jimmy and that he’s the muscle. They start to go through the food crates and find another crate. Shawn opens it to find guns. He says that Vest and a man are smuggling guns into foreign countries. As they go to leave, Drake pulls a gun on them. Lassiter comes in and pulls one on thm. He says he’s FBI. Gus checks the badge and it’s FBI.
The agent gets mad at their involvement and tells them to back off. She tells them that they have to back off and they can’t go after Karp or Drake.
Shawn is looking for the house that was in Karp’s file. Juliet catches him. He finds the house and she tells him that she’s worried he will get hurt. Lassiter sees this and follows Shawn.
Shawn finds Vest and Karp in the house. Gus sys he won’t help unless they take down the armed guys. They are going to pull on the support beam with the balcony that they were on.
Shawn/Gus are at the mechanic’s. The Blueberry is split in half. Gus says that he doesn’t to help anymore because it’s dangerous. They go outside and Lassiter picks Shawn up.
They are at the safe house. Lassiter says that he’s helping because he would do the same thing if he was in Shawn’s shoes. He leaves Shawn at the house. Gus shows up in The Cranberry (same car but maroon). Shawn tells Gus Lassiter’s plan. He says that they poisoned their food. He says Lassiter plant explosives and Shawn blows up The Cranberry. Shawn turns off all the lights in the house.
He goes in and places bullets on a pan in the stove. They start to go off and one gets hit with it. Shawn is in the room where Karp is. Shawn says he’s going to take him in. Julian (man from bookstore) puts a gun on Shawn. Shawn distracts Julian and Karp grabs the gun and points it at Shawn. Juliet comes in and shoots Karp.
At the police station, Shawn and Juliet talk about how he has to realize that he has someone who loves him. Shawn gets a call from doctor and tells him to go to hospital. The doctor pulls the feeding tube out and Henry breaks up with Chelsea but she doesn’t take it very well.

Analysis
It has been ten long months since the Season 6 finale and the Psych fans have been counting down the days until Season 7 premiered. Last night, we saw a different side of Shawn. He wasn't his usual sarcastic, comedic self (best comedic moment when Juliet/Lassiter/Chief walked in on Shawn and Gus eating nachos) but was more serious and vengeful. It was nice seeing this other side of him and to see just how much he cares for his dad. But this other side of Shawn comes with it's own downfalls. His recklessness and determination caused arguments with Gus and Juliet. Nothing really happened because everything worked out in the end, but it makes you wonder what would have happened if it didn't...
