PSPCA rescues 10 German Shepherds from filthy North Philly home

North Philadelphia - Rescue is in progress for at least 10 German Shepherd dogs in a house on the 2100 block of East Tioga Street. Pennsylvania SPCA.

Humane Law Enforcement officers executed a search warrant after receiving complaints from residents and business owners on that block.

George Bengal, Director of Humane Law Enforcement, says that the property is in filthy and uninhabitable condition, according to preliminary reports.

This case is not related to the rescue of 28 German Shepherd dogs from Marcus Hook in February.
