While serving a warrant in the Kensington section of Philadelphia on an unrelated case, Pennsylvania Humane Law Enforcement Officers were informed by neighbors in the area about the remains of five dogs.
The bodies, with no identification, were found on the wall by the railroad tracks at the corner of Martha and Monmouth Streets.
A pit bull was found in a garbage bag, a small mixed breed in a cooler, and the remaining three, also small mixed breed, in a pile.
Unfortunately they were too decomposed to perform necropsies, so they are relying on the community's help to shed light on the cause of death and the person(s) responsible.
