Antonio Cara of the Playstation Blog has stated that GungHo Online Entertainment America is bringing 6 Japanese Playstation 1 titles to the PSN with the store update on Tuesday, May 20. The games range from simulators to pinball, but they have one thing in common: they will all be in their original Japanese. According to Cara, "some are definitely more 'import-friendly' than others."

The six games included in the update are: Dragon Beat Legend of Pinball, an old-school pinball game; Heroine Dream and Heroine Dream 2, a style management game and its sequel; NEO PLANET, a space planet simulator; Sarara’s Little Shop (Danjyon Shoutengai: Densetsu no Ken Hajimemashita), an RPG item shop simulator; and Tokyo 23-Ku Seifuku Wars, an apocalyptic strategy title.

Each of the imported games will be priced at $5.99. This is the first time any of them have been released in the US, and Sony hopes there is at least one title here for everyone. This PSN store update may be the beginning of a list of titles importers have long awaited.
