With “Assassin's Creed 4” officially confirmed for the PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC, fans of this franchise are building anticipation towards the first release of this series on the next generation of consoles. With this title receiving an expected release date in October, a developer on this title has insisted that the PS4 version of “Assassin's Creed 4” will be launching alongside the current generation and PC editions of this title in October. With this being said, this may confirm that the PS4 will be released by this October.
As reported by CVG on March 13, Ubisoft Montreal's Jean Guesdon stated that all versions of this title would be shipped the same time. In response to the question of: "Is there going to be any delay between the versions, or are they all going to release at the same time?" Guesdon replied with the following statement: “Same ship.”
Although this is not completely confirm that the PS4 will be released by Oct. 29, which is the release date set for “Assassin's Creed 4,” it does lead to some speculation. Sony has officially stated that the PS4 will be released in holiday 2013, while no specific month has been given.
