With the upcoming "Sony PlayStation" event going live tonight, some new details of the PS4's price have arisen. On Feb.19, 2013, A reliable source from Kotaku has reported that the PS4 will release as two different variants at approximately $429 and $529. With tonight's unveiling and E3 on the horizon, all rumors will hopefully be put to rest.
Kotaku's source doesn't stop there. The PS4, codenamed Orbis, also could be following the path of "Microsoft XBOX Live," as it will offer a subscription-based online service that aims to expand upon its "PlayStation Plus" service. The new feature will be called "PlayStation World", the source added. It is also predicted that the PS4 can be accessed via tablet or SmartPhone for online features such as chatting with friends or shopping for games.
It seems that just about every aspect of the PS4 has been discussed and Sony has yet to officially announce a single tidbit of truth to these rumors. Judging by the amount of hype surrounding the reveal of the PS4, it would be a major disappointment to the public if Sony does not announce its new system tonight. Stay tuned with Examiner for live updates involving the "Sony PlayStation" event, starting tonight at 6pm ET.
