Sony's next-generation console, the PS4, is currently expected to be revealed at the PlayStation event that is set to take place on Feb. 20. Providing us with a teaser of “seeing the future” at this event, it is very likely that Sony will indeed be showcasing the PS4 for the first time. According to a report from VideoGamer on Feb. 8, it appears that we may also see the next installment to the “Killzone” franchise at this event.
An industry insider has reported that “Killzone 4” will be released later this year exclusively for Sony's PS4. Along with providing this information, it has been said that Guerrilla Games may decide to showcase this PS4 title at the PlayStation event that is scheduled for Feb. 20.
If this event holds the announcement of the PS4, it would make sense for Sony to reveal a few titles for this system as well. With the help of a franchise that has been known to deliver top notch visuals, “Killzone 4” would be the perfect title to showcase what the hardware within the PS4 is capable of.
