Rumors about the upcoming PS4 controller have been hit or miss over the last couple of weeks. On Feb. 13, 2013, one source from VG247 says with certainty that the alleged Share button is inaccurate. Other details about PS4 controller however remain true, including the presence of a touchpad existing where the former Start, Select and PS button resided. The touchpad itself is said to resemble the touchpad on the back of Sony's portable, PSVita.
Other rumors involving some of the new controller's design have surfaced as well, including new changes with the L2 and R2 buttons. Nothing has been concretely confirmed about what they plan to do with the placement of the buttons, but the source says that they will be ''remodeled for the better.''
The new PS4 controller shall sport the same shape as the previous DualShock3 controller and players shouldn't expect a remarkably different change to the design. But, with the announcement of no possible Share feature, then perhaps Sony shall introduce a different method during the upcoming event on Feb. 20, 2013.
