PS4 controller redesign leaked through images, features touchpad and audio input (Photos)

With multiple rumors about Sony's intentions to redesign the controller for their next generation system, the PS4, we have yet to receive official word from Sony regarding this matter. Previous rumors speculate that this redesigned controller will implement a touchscreen and some type of share button.

Surprisingly, on Feb. 14, Destructoid uncovered two leaked images of what seems to be the redesign controller for the PS4. As can be seen in the slideshow featured above this article, it is very apparent that this controller features the rumored touchpad. In addition to this, the controller also features something that appears similar to the sphere that is found on the PlayStation Move controllers.

There is also a speaker found directly above the PS button on this controller. To add a further bit of mystery to the features found on this controller, it is also apparent that the bottom of this device features what seems to be a headphone port.

At the moment, no further information has been given on this supposed PS4 controller. Multiple sources have reported that these photos are indeed real, but it is to be noted that this is an early prototype of the device. It is very likely that the final version of this controller will take on a somewhat different look.

Be sure to take a look at the two images that showcase the PS4 controller in the slideshow featured above this article.
