A comparison has been made between the sales of the PS4 and Xbox One on Amazon. According to a report from Spawn First on Dec. 22, the online retailer recently received new shipments on both next-generation systems.
Amazon apparently has more PS4 in stock than the Xbox One. However, Sony’s new console managed to sell out faster when compared Microsoft’s hardware. A chart compiled by fans who kept an eye on the stock situation showed that the standalone PS4 was sold out way before the Xbox One.
Furthermore, the “Battlefield 4” and “Killzone: Shadow Fall” bundles for Sony’s new console ran out of stock before the standalone Xbox One system. You can check out the chart, as well as some images of the two new gaming platforms, in the slideshow to the left of this article.
Microsoft recently announced that the Xbox One sold more than 1 million units worldwide during the first day of launch. The PS4 also accomplished the same feat although Sony recently added that their platform has sold 2.1 million units as of Dec. 1.
The Xbox One launched with a price of $499.99, $100 more than its direct competition. Early reports showed that the PS4 has more demand but is severely supply constraint. Sony disclosed that the issues should be resolved during the first two months of next year.
