Update: You can find Amazon’s Black Friday deals in the following link: Black Friday Deals Week.
The upcoming PS4 and Xbox One were mentioned in the Black Friday print advertisement for GameStop. According to a report by Kotaku on Oct. 18, both next-generation systems will be in stock at the retailer during the shopping holiday. The PS4 will be released on Nov. 15 while the Xbox One is coming out on Nov. 22. The two consoles are expected to be sold out due to high demand and potentially limited supplies.
Although the next-generation systems and games won’t be getting any direct discounts, GameStop does have a few related deals. The retailer will be selling the one year Playstation Plus membership for $29.99, which is $20 less than the standard price tag. The three month membership to the Xbox Live Gold service will also be discounted to $14.99.
Three big-named releases for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 will also be on sale at GameStop for Black Friday. “Battlefield 4” can be purchased for $29.99 while “Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag” will be sold for $39.99. Moreover, “Call of Duty Ghosts” is getting a price cut to $49.99. All three titles are part of the next-generation upgrade program, which gives players the opportunity to purchase the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the same game for a small fee.
This year’s Black Friday holiday is set for Nov. 29. You can check out some screens from the aforementioned games in the slideshow near the top of this article.
