PS4 and Xbox 720 release of ‘Tekken X Street Fighter’ hinted (Photos)

The upcoming multiplatform video game, “Tekken X Street Fighter,” may be released on the PS4 and Xbox 720 instead of the PS3 and Xbox 360. According to a report by Event Hubs on March 18, Katsuhiro Harada provided an explanation as to why they haven’t revealed any new information recently on the upcoming title. The producer at Namco Bandai Games disclosed that they are “changing” and “considering” their platform strategy, hinting that the development may have been moved to the PS4 and Xbox 720. You can check out some screens from the other crossover fighting game, “Street Fighter X Tekken,” in the slideshow at the top of this article and the comments from Katsuhiro Harada below (courtesy of Event Hubs):

I said "under development" few days ago. We are changing & considering platform strategy. That's why we don't say anything.

“Tekken X Street Fighter” was announced along with “Street Fighter X Tekken” in 2010. Katsuhiro Harada revealed that the title is approximately 10 percent complete approximately one year ago.

Namco Bandai Games is responsible for the development of “Tekken X Street Fighter,” which features fighters from two of the most popular video game franchises of the fighting genre.

The PS4 and Xbox 720 are expected to launch in the North American region later this holiday season.
